The total receipts were £1113 sand eSpehsea £3. The usual meeting 6t the Entertainment Committee of the Hawke's Bay Flood Relief Fund was held last night. Mr Hart occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance. An apology wad received from Mr Bultitude. A rough abstract of the result of the social on Queen's Birthday night was brought up.. It was resolved that hearty votes of thanks be accorded to the ladies and gentlemen taking part in the concert; Mr Marshall for loan of furniture ; D.I.C. for loan of piano ; Messrs Turton and Jones for plants ; to the members of the Fire Brigade for their able and willing assistance, and Mr R. Hall for his services as floor manager. The Treasurer was authorised to pay accounts, and the question of a further entertainment in the month of June was deferred till next meeting. This .closed the business, and the meeting adjourned till next Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. (PRESS ASSeCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, May 25. At a meeting of "the Hawke's Bay Relief Fund Committee it was decided to allow the Central Committee at Napier to deal with the distribution of the funds. The Treasurer reported that the fund at present amounted to £1129. It' was decided to close the lists on Saturday, June 12th.
