Mr A. McFarlane, of Achray, is at present in town.
Mrs and Mies Courage are on a visit to Christchurch, as is Mrs Wason, of Corwar. Mr Dampier-Crossley. came into town yesterday.
Mr and Mrs Meredith Kaye, of Timaru, and Mr W. Bee and Miss Bee, of Oamaru, came to Christchurch yesterday on a visit.
Captain Strang was a passenger from Wellington by the Te Anau yesterday. Mr McKerrow came by the same steamer. Mr E. C. Studholme was a passenger for the south by yesterday's express. Mr H. Alan Scotfr -went by the same train.
Mr J. R. Scott was >a' passenger from the south by yesterday's express. The Hon. W. C. Walker was a passenger for Wellington by the Te Anau yesterday. Mr Alexander Anderson and Mr Galbraith went by the same steamer.
