THE QUEEN'S BRIDESMAIDS.
lady Foley, mother of the present Peer, died at her London residence, 7 Audley Square, recently, after a few days' illness. She wa3 the eldest daughter of the thirteenth Duke of Norfolk, and widow of the I—rth Baron Foley, who died in 1869. Her ladyship was one of the twelve noble brio—maids who attended the Queen at her tfrfding in St; James's Chapel Royal, in February, 1840. Of this band of beautiful Young unmarried ladies who followed her Majesty on that memorable occasion, only three now survive—the —uohess of Cleveland, the Dowager Duchess of Bedford, and Lady Jane Ellice.
