The visitors in their first innings scored 162; Kelly 50, Donnan 35, Mackenzie 34, Garrefct 13, being chief scorers. Jones took five wickets' for 49, Evans four for 46. The home team have lost one wicket for 47. Darling and Lyons are both not out with 19 and 21 respectively. • The weather was fine and the wicket in good order. There was a large attendance of the public. Ircdale was dismissed by the first ball, and Gregory failed to score. Mackenzie and Doonan made a good stand and livened up the game considerably. Kelly played patient and correct cricket for his Bcore.
