ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
A movement is on foot in Wellington to induce the shopkeepers of the city to observe the half-holiday for nest week on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Tuesday ia St, Patrick's ,D*y, and as the Banks and Government officesnviiltne closed, it) ia thought that the shops should shut in the afternoon instead of on the Wednesday.
