SUICIDE.

(press association telegram.) DUNEDIN, March 12. Janet Kay, aged 64 years, a resident of Woodhaugh, ia supposed to baye committed suicide by taking poison. She had been drinking with her married daughter, with whom she had words. The daughter alleges that in a quarrel with her son she exclaimed "This will be the last of mc." She drank a solution of "Rough on Rats." The woman administered an emetic, but the mother died next morning. At the inquest the jury returned a verdict "that the deceased poisoned herself by taking • Rough on Rats ' while temporarily insane."
