THURSDAY'S PRODUCE REPORT.

(BY OCR COMMERCIAL EDITOE ) The Wheat market keeps steady without appreciable change. Tuacan and Pearl command more attention at presents thandoea Hunter* white, whiso is the least in demand amongst local millers. For prime samples 3s for Hunter's at country stations is the best price going, and for second quality grades only 2* 10d to 2a lid ia now offered. For Tuscan. 3s Id is the current rate, and for Pearl 3s Id to 3a 2d. Good, clean milling seconds are worth 2* 9J, al«o at country stations. Oats are firmjy held, and the prevailing feeling seems to be that an absolute shortage exists here and that liter ia the season a better demand will be experienced. Bi.ni.KY has rather a dragging sale, and only prime, plump lots meeo with anything like a ready sale. For medium grades 2i 9 J to 3s, country stations, is abouo best value obtainable. Pjsas are in demand, especially Prussian blues, and prims lots find a ready market. The bulk of those offering are not very good, being in many cases mixed with other kinds, and more of a feed description than otherwise. Up to 3j 6d is being offered lor good samples. Chaff is dull, the absence of outside enquiry causing a slackness in businees. Values range from 42i 61 to 47s 6d, and buyers are very few. Australian outlets appear to be blocked for tho time being. Hay aUo is dull of sale, but a better markeo may, we think, ba looked for later on. ]3eax3 are likely to rule very low this year, as tho"main outlet (London) is blocked and likely to remain inoperative for some time to come. Kvi£OUA%s is not offjriog freely, and any lota of good weighty seed are readily saleable at up to 3s 6d to Za 9 J, f.o.b.

CooicvFOOT —Business is slack, and likely t > be quiet for a time, being batween the eesujoua. Excepting for extra good qualities, 3d to 3£i njw represents the existiug market values.
