Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :— THURSDAY, MARCH 12. For Dunedin, per Coriuna, at 12.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Auckland (direct), per Janet Nicoll, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m. ; guard's vun, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Takapuna, at 4.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m.; guard's van, 5.30 p.m. train. For Cheviot aud Kaikoura, per Wakatu, at 4.20 p.m. ; late fee letters*, 435 p.m. ; guard'a van, 5.30 p.m. train. Foe Northern Ports, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Waihora, at 5.25 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.40 p.m.; guard's van, 6.45 p.m. train. SATURDAY, MARCH 14. For Australian Colonies, and also for United Kingdom and Europe (specially addressed via Brindiai, India, China, Japan, &c.), per express, to connect with Hauroto at 10.30 a.m. ; late fee ietters, 10.40 a.m. ; mail van, 11 a.m. train. Due London April 28th. Mails for Raratouga will close at Auckland on March 12th, at 11 a.m. Mails for Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands and Noumea will close at Sydney, March 12th.
