Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations ;— MONDAY, MARCH 9. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Weotport, per Omapere and Wareatea, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. tram. For Greymouth aud West Coast Ports, per Hesketh, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed), per Mamari, and also for South America, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. TUESDAY, MARCH 10. For Australian Colonies, via Wellington, per Tarawera, at 5 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Mails for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, per Ovalau, close at Auckland, March 11th, at 4 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom, Europe, &c, via Sun Francisco, will close on Maroh 18th.
