Mr J. Duthie, M.H.R., was a passenger from Wellington by the Tarawera on Saturday. The Yen. Archdeacon Thorpe was a passenger from Wellington by the Penguin on SaturdayThe Hod. H. J. Miller was a passenger by the same steamer. The Hon. J. G. Ward went to Wellington by the Penguin yesterday. Mr C. W. Cunningham, Wellington, is in town. Mr J. G. Restell. of the Farmers' Cooperative Association, Nelson, was in Ashburton on Saturday. Mr Reid, of Messrs Reid and Gray, Dunedin, returned South fiom Ashburton on Saturday. Mr George Humphreys returned to Christchurch on .Saturday. Messrs Skelton and Asbby returned by the Tarawera.
