The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's fine cargo steamer Maori, Captain Moffatt, arrived yesterday morning from Loudon via Wellington. She brings 900 tons geueral cargo fur this port.
A BIG CARGO.
The Shaw, S-vill'and Albion Company's splendid steamer Tokotnaru, whioh sailed from Lyttelton on Saturday last for London, took away'the la gest ship.nent of meat by several thousand carcases that has ever loft New Zealand iv oue bottom. The shipment comprised no less thin 105,690 oaroasea and 5442 legs mutton, 227 quartets beef, 61 oases and 35 bags kidneys, 3 cases sweetbreads, and 5 cases fish. By far the largest portion of the mutton went from Christchuich, 80,129 carcases being shipped here, 17,154 at Napier, and 8407 at Wellington. 5384 of the legs of mutton were shipped at the last named port.
