(FROM OUR CORRESPOND!-*-.) Ni_W PLYMOUTH, February 18. It is promising weather, and the town is full of visitors, Auckland being strongly represented. The races look very open. I fancy Rangipai and Ssrayahot for the First Hurdles and for the Hack Hurdles Black Friar and Conscript. Aucklandera regard Fabulist as a good thing for the Taranaki Jockey Club's Handicap, but my choice is Pom Pom. Rangipuhi and Eve are both Likely to run welL Three Star did a good gallop yesterday morning and is regarded as a dark horse. He will require to run better than he has ever done before to win. In the First Hack Flat Race, I like Locarius, Crimson Streak and Voltigeur in that order, but Nightingale may run better than at Hawera. Unknown is my fancy for the Pony Race, and Orion and Acone for tbe Flying read best. Tbe First Hurdles start ab noon, the Hack Hurdles 12 45, Jockey Club Handicap 1.30, Hack Race 2.30, Pony Handicap 3.15, Hack Scurry Flying 4.45.
Nominations for the Akaroa County Raoiog Club close to-day.
