Nelson, licensee oi an hotel at Ashurst, was fined £10 and costs, aud had his license forfeited, lor permitting his hotel to be used as a brottiel. The S.M., in giving judgment, said the evidence disclosed such a state of affairs as was a disgrace not ouly vo the place but to tho colouy, and rcfleiued very discreditably ou the police.
