The Conntess of Glasgow, Ladies Augusta, Alice and Dorothy Boyle, and Captain Preston, aide-de-camp, who were in Christchurch yesterday, left for Wellington last night by the Penguin.

Mr A. W. Beaven left for Invercargill by tbe express yesterday.

Mr and Mrs G. G. Stead, Mr and Mrs P. Campbell, and Miss F. Wynn-Williams were passeng-ps for Dnnedin by yesterday's express.

Mr and Mrs H. V. Styche left by yesterday's express for the South, where they will spend a few weeks' holiday. Mr Duthie returned to Wellington by the Penguin yesterday. The Hon. Mr Graham was a passenger for Wellington by the Flora yesterday.

Dr. Pnrdy went by the same steamer. Mr E. G. Wright, Windermere, is in town.

Mr J. W. Trolove, Kaikoura, is staying here.

Mr G. A. Macquarie, Nelson, is paying a visit to Cbristchuich.

Messrs C. Hood-Williams and W. Tonka went South by tbe express yesterday. Bishop Grimes leaves to-day for tbe West Coast, where ha propose, to remain till Holy week.

Dr. Lovegrove, a delegate from Western Australia at the recent Medical Congress, is in Christchurch and leaves for Wellington this evening.

Mr P. C. Neill was a passenger from Dunedin by last night's express. Mr Brewis, Dr. Noble, Mr B. Winch, Major and Mrs Sparrow, Mr W. H. Legge, Mr Clive, Mr T. J. Joseph-son, Dr. Drake, Mr Ccoabie, Dr., Mrs and Miss Ryan, Mr Penby, Mr D. W. Guthrie, Mr B. Beattie. nnd Mr Ogle are at the Wolseley Hotel, Winchester.
