MANDEVILLE AND RANGIORA. The monthly meeting was held on De« cember 13th. Present—Mr Luxton (Chairman pro. tern.) and Messrs Stalker and Moody. Is was decided to order removal of obstruction in ditch on Allen's road. It was decided to ask the Railway Department for a level crossing and gates near Mr K. Mclatosh's farm; to order cutting of willows on Woodend road ; and to have a conveyance executed for the gravel reserve at the boundary with the Cuso district. It was agreed to improve the track to Miles' Ford, Ashley. Tenders were accepted for Pateman'e road, Mr H. Hamilton leasing reserve, Oxford road, 5s acre ; and Fernside gravel pit, 2j 6d, Mr A. Newgesovender. Leave was granted the Chairman to act as Census Snb-Euumerator, and he was appointed Valuer, the valuation to be on tne capital basi*. The receipts were £95 6s ; Bank credit, £298 7s 3d ; accounts, £197 Is 2d, were passed.
