ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A sad case of drowning occurted ab the railway bridge, Lincoln, yesterday morning, about eleven o'clock. Two boys, named McCleod, were walking over the bridge between the sleepers, when one of them, named Hugh, fell ia and was drowned.
(FHES3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, December 30. Michael Reily, about fifty-four years of age, died very suddenly when at dinner in the Victoria Hotel on Suuday evening. The deceased was a Gisborne contractor, and leaves a brother in Gisborne and a sister in Christchurch. MASTEKTON", December 30th. The eight-year-old daughter of Air George Burling, of Alfredton, was killed through the capsizing of a bullock dray ia which she was riding. BLENHEIM, December 30. A young man named Albert Edward Fox was drowned in the Wairau river yesteiday when bathing. DUNEDIN, December 30. Mr Joseph Lee, Railway Inspector, died suddenly at Waitati this morning.
