RAID ON A GAMING HOUSE.
_«_ (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, December 28. A force of police, under Inspector Thomson and Detective Gantley, raided Jury's tobacconist shop on Friday night, and made ten arrests. At the Police Court Jury was fined £50 for keeping a gaining house, in default three months' imprisonment. Lovelock and Joseph Coburn were fined £5 each for frequenting the house, and five others were fiued £1 each for frequenting the house.
