ORANGE GRAND LODGE.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TEhES^AH.) DUNEDIN, December 23. The Orange Grand Lodge of the Middle Island elected Bro. J. Mathers Grand Master ; Bro. Kennedy, Deputy ;Bra J. C. Cay gill, Secretary ; Bro. Ditßo, Treasurer ; Bro. Kinnimont, Assistant Secretary ; Bro. Thome, Assistant Treasurer; Chaplains, Bros, the Rev. Grigg, senr., Mitchell, Bereaford, Suarpe and Dyson; Committee, Bros. Middieton (foreman), Rev. Ginger, White, J. T. Gallagher and Simpson. Resolutions were earned expressive of pleasure at the legislation of last session giving the people a straight vote on the liquor question ; and that this Lodge approves aud gives it 3 unequivocal support to the movement for the introduction of the Irish Scripture lesson book into the school syllabus.
