Saturday, Dkcember 14. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) IyDKCSNT Behaviour.—lsabella Leokie, for behaving indecently in Colombo street, was sentenced to three mouths' imprisonment, with hard labour. Maintestanci*.—Heory Ladd, who had been arrested on a charge of deserting hie wile, was discharged, an arrangement h_vtug been come to by the parties.—Patk. Matone, arrested at Darfield for having f-ilea to provide for his six children, was remanded on his own recognisances till December 17th to allow inquires to be made. —Au order directing John N. Taylor to pay his wife 15s per week, was varied to 10- - ; Mr Donnelly appeared for Mra Taylor, Mr Beattie for the defendant.—A case against Alfred E. Taylor, for being in arrears £3 with payments towards his wife's support, was adjourned till December 21st; Mr McConnel appeared for the complainant, Mr Byrne for defendant.
