(press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, December 14. The Wesleyan District Synod yesterday night discussed the question of Methodist Uuion. Reso'uttous were passed approviug of the principle, but suggesting that nothiug would be gained b}- auy attempt to force a readjustment in any particular locality. As the quarterly meeting of the Pitt-street Wesleyan Circuit declared it inadvisable to amalgamate with the Free Methodist Church, the Synod recommended that the Pitt aud Vincent streets and M >_v. Eden Free Methodist Churches in Aucklaud should be constituted a separate circuit. The Rev. W. J. Williams was elected representative to the ensuing Conference.
