"DETURN EXCURSION TICKETS at 2d per mile JLV first class, ld per mile second class, minimum 4s and 2s respectively, mileage counted one way only, ■ will be issued from any station on the Hurunui-Blufl section to Christchurch, Timaru, Waimate, Oamaru, Dunedin, Invercargill, Kingston, from the 18th December, 1895, to January 2nd, 1896, and to all stations on the Hurunvd-Bluff section on December 24th, 26th, 26th, 31st, January Ist and 2nd, all avail- ! able for return for one month from date of issue. In each case distances for which the ordinary fares are less than the minimum excursion fares will be j omitted. The journey must be started on the day of the purchase of the ticket, and may be broken biter the first 25 miles.
