A Bill which gives newspaper Companies the power to sue for debts, and confers on them rights equivalent to other similar bodies, has passed the Legislative Assembly. The Police Begulations Amendment Bill, allowing a constable to go insolvent and secure reinstatement in the force on obtaining a certificate of clearance from the Judge of the Insolvency Court, has also passed the Legislative Assembly. Adelaide, December 14. The Legislative Assembly has passed a Bill authorising the issue of Treasury Bills to cover the d-98,000 deficit. It is improbable, however, that the bills will require to be issued.
