NEW SOUTH WALES v. QUEENSLAND.
Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyrisrht. SYDNEY, December 13. The cricket match, New South Wales v Queensland, b»gan to-day. The former batted first, and at the call of time had loat five wickets for 341, the highest scorers beine McKenzie 76, Donnan, 40. Gregory 43, Youill 40, Waltera (not out) 91, Gould (not out) 31. The pitch was very fast, consequently the sooring was rapid. Frequent changes were made in the bowling, but the Welshmen treated all alike. Neither the bowling nor the fielding of the visitors was quite up to the intercolonial standard.
