A despatch received by the Warrimoo, dated Montreal, October 26th, says that the Government had decided to withdraw the offer of 750,000 dollars for a fast Atlantic service. An arrangement had been made between the Government and the Allan and Dominion line of steamships by which a subsidy would be granted to each Company, each agreeing to put in commission two seventeen knot vessels.
