Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :— MONDAY, DECEMBER 2. For Greymouth, per Wareatea, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Weatport, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Akarcu, per Brunner, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. ; guard's Tan, 12.10 p.m. train. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, and also for the United Kingdbnr and Europe (via Brindisi), India, China, Japan, &c, per Wakatipu, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Due London January 21at. Mails for Fiji close at Auckland December 6th. Mails for Noumea leave Sydney 6th and 12th December. Mails for Puysegur Point and Cromarty oloee at Invercargiil December sth.
