A MYSTERIOUS MURDER.
•«- (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, August 6. Intelligence reached Suva on July 29th of a cold-blooded murder, committed at Namata, Vata, on the Wakiraka coast of Viti Levu, the victim being a white named Thomas Belling. His head had been battered in with au axe. The tragedy is surrounded with mystery. The deceased was an old gray-headed man about seventy years of age, and was known for the past fifteen or twenty years in both Levnka and Suva. He was an educated man reduced in circumstances.
