QN the Bth and lOrn AUGUST Trains will run from Christehurch to the Racecourse at 11.15, 11.35, 11.50 a.m., 12.5 and 12.35 p.m., returning as required from about 4.0 p.m. till thirty minutes after the last race. Return fares, including admission to the Course, from Lyttelton 4s first class, 3s second class or seated waggons; from Christchurch 2s odaud 2s ; single fares from Course to Christchurc h la 6d and Is! The tickets will he available for day of issue only. The Racecourse trains do not stop at intermediate stations, except that the last two from the Course set down passengers at Addmgton. Season and,ordinary tickets, tree passes, and C.J.C. complimentary tickets are not available by any of these trains. . . • ~ . . On the Bth the 7.20 a.m. train from Ashburton to Christchurch will not run. Passengers can travel by an Excursion Train from Timaru for Christchurch, which will be due from Ashburton at 917 a.m., Chertsey 9.46, Rakaia 10.0, Dunsahdel 10.27. Selwyn 10.33. Burnham 10.48, then stopping only to set down passengers. The train from Methveu will start at 8725 a.m., Lauriston 9.2, to ennnect at Rakaia with the Excursion Train.' An Extra Train will run from Rakaia to Methven at the ordinary evening tram times, after arrival of the 4.40 p.m. train from Christchurch. ._.—_• On the Bth and 10th the following Evening Trams from Christchurch will start at the times named, and will be correspondingly later than time-table times at stations en route:—From Christchurch to Southbridge 4.50 p.m., to Springfield and Whitechffs 0.10 p.m., to Waikari, Oxford and Bennetts 5.40 p.m. On the 10th the train from Lincoln to Little River will start at 5.55 p.m. .
