An amusing incident was witnessed thft 5 other day in the Blooinsbury County Court. Seated in the public gallery was a lady , attired iv a cloth golf cap, black reefer jacket, stiff lin6n collar and frilled, shirtfront. Judge Bacon, looking across the Court to the spot where she was aeated. exclaimed, "Take off your cap, there. The can was not removed, and ha ropoatea his order to "you man there." Ans*«* ".: voice from the gallery—"l&'a a lady, your ; honour." (Lausjhfer.) Judge Bacon, leaning over hU desk aud str&iuiig his eyes — .'■'■ '• la it a woman ? Why docs she Ureas bke .«. that?" (Loud laughter.) The person re- -* ferrod to iecrned quite tguoranb of the wet | that the fun was at her expeuse nu»» v W friend informed her, when 6he seemed highlj <m amused herself. j
