The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's splendid cargo steamer Tokomaru, Captain Maxwell, arrived from Wellington on Saturday, and was berthed at No. 7 wharf. She at once commenced loading cargo for London, for which port she sails about the end of the present month.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's fine cargo steamer Tekoa returned from the Bluff late on Friday, and was brought to a berth at No. 7 wharf the same night. She

completes her loading for London at Lyttel. ton, and sails about Wednesday next. Shi was busy on Saturday loading cargo and coaling from the hulk Blackwalt. The a.a. Orowaiti, Captain Adanjj arrived on Saturday from Westport with * cargo of coals. The barque Thurso took advantage of the southerly breeze on Saturday, and sailed in the afternoon for Greymouth. H.M.S. Pylades sailed for Wellington shortly after nine o'clock on Saturday morn, ing. Tho s'.eamer Jane Douglas, which a&iled for Akaroa ou Friday, got back to Port yesterday evening, having been detained at Akaroa by heavy weather.
