(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, June 8. In the senior football matches to-day the Athletics defeated Wellington by ten points to three points. Poueke drew with Melrose. The Secretary of the Wellington Rugby Union received a letter from the Secretary of the Auckland Union, stating that a team from that district will possibly be sent South at the end of A ugust.
