TOWN V. COUNTRY, The match between town and country was played recently at the Borough Council Chambers, and was very keenly contested throughout But in the early part of the match it was thought the country players would prove the victors, as the first of the town plavera went down with the loss of his four games, and a little later another went down with three lost, with one win for town. There were fourteen players aside, each pair to play four games, time permitting.
