ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Daring a run of the Brackenfield hounds yesterday morning, on Mr J. Douglas' Valley Farm, Mr J. McFarlane, Great Northern Hotel, Waikari, suffered a severe fall through hia horse tailing to rise at a hurdle and falling with him. The sufferer was removed to his home, where Dr. FitzHenry put in his right shoulder, which was dislocated, and otherwise treated the patient, who is progressing favourably; being otherwise nob seriously hurb, though considerably shaken. A farmer named W. Rudd, residing near the Linwood Cemetery, reported to the police last night that his son, Philip, aged twenty-seven, went to New Brighton on Tuesday morning for tbe purpose of having a dip, and had not returned. He feared that his son had met with a mishap.

Yesberday a youth named Arbhur Foster, employed in Messrs Kaye and Carter's shed branding bags, sustained a compound fracture of the left leg through a sack of wheat falling on him from the top of a stack. He was conveyed to his home, where the injured limb was set by Dr. Pairman. (P__SB ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, May 29. James Gibson, while working on the State Farm ab Levin, was killed by a tree falling on him. AUCKLAND, May 29. Charles May, while driving a waggon through a shed opening ab the wharf, was caught and jammed. His spine was badly hurt, and he was injured internally. Charles Kingsford, aged twelve, was kicked by a horse, and his skull fractured. He remains unconscious.
