ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Daring a run of the Brackenfield hounds yesterday morning, on Mr J. Douglas' Valley Farm, Mr J. McFarlane, Great Northern Hotel, Waikari, suffered a severe fall through hia horse tailing to rise at a hurdle and falling with him. The sufferer was removed to his home, where Dr. FitzHenry put in his right shoulder, which was dislocated, and otherwise treated the patient, who is progressing favourably; being otherwise nob seriously hurb, though considerably shaken.
