The barque Hudson cleared at the Customs yesterday for London, and is expected to sail today. The Government steamer Hinemoa, Captain Fairchild, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. She had ob board some thirty-six patients, who were being transferred from the Wellington Asyium to Sunnyside. The unfortunate people went up to Christchurch by special train. The steamer sailed again in the afternoon for Wellington. The Shaw, Saeill and Albion Company's direct liner Doric, Captain Sowden, sailed yesterday afternoon for Port Chalmers. She takes in a quantity of cargo and returns to Lyttelton, sailing from here for London on the 30th inst.
