THE "INDIGNATION " MEETING.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sib,—ln the Press of December Bth appears the report of the weekly meeting of tbe Rawhiti Assembly of the Knights of Labour, and it contains the following :— *'A voluminous report of the proceedings ' of the Court of Eaquiry into tbe charges laid by the Assembly against the Charitable Aid Board was presented to the meeting and adopted as highly satis- * factory. Thanks were expressed towards the Commissioners for the impartial, painstaking and humane manner in which they bad conduoted the enquiry.". This is very interesting in view of tbe remarks made and the resolution passed at the indignation meeting on Sunday. Mrs Garmson was, I believe, the accredited representative of the Knights of Labour present doting the sittings of the Commission. Comment is needless.—l am, &c, Observer. February 6Ui.
