Dairy Cattish—Thero was a iair entry on offer, including some very good sorts. Competition was irregular, bub taken all round a somewhat better demand was shown. Store Cattle—A fair propouion of the entry consisted of young c_Ule, which came in for a fair amount of attention at the hands of buyer.. Other sorts wore neglected. Messrs H. Matsos and Co. cold store cous at £1103 to £4, calves up to £1 15s. Mess as Wilson and Sons sold yearlings from 35s to 375, store oowa from £3 to £5 10a. Messrs Geo. Kino and Co., Limited, sold yearlings from 303 to 37s 6_, cows from £3 7s 61 to £4 10*.. Messrs Tomicnter and Jennings sold two-year-olds at £2 10s to £3 7a 6d, yeariiug heifers at 32a 6d to £2 4s. Mkssrs F. Pyne and Co. sold 18-inonths to 2-year-old cattle at £2 7s 6d to £3 sa. Store Sheep—An unusually Urge supply of Btore sheep came to hand, crossbred lambs aud two-tooths occupying a good number of the pens. A few buyers wort present with a view of doing business, and when their demands were satisfied biuineu practically came to a standstill. Fat Lambs—Another large yarding came under the auctioneers' notice, bat only a few of the pens contained lambs fit for export.
