JUNIOR CUP MATCHES.
'JThe return match between the United and Midland Clubs was commenced at Eagley Park. The Midland went in first and scored 68, W. G. Garrard contributing 30 aud D. Reese 11. The United replied with 145, E. J. Ross making 30, E. J. Cotterill 28, Kitto 24. F. Fish 14 and Wiltiams 12. Kitto and Blyth bowled well for the United and Reese and Richards for the Midland, whose fielding was below the average. The return match between Lancaster Park 'and St. Albans was commenced at Lancaster [ Park on Saturday. Tho. home team was the first to bat and totalled 176 (Shaw 43, Ronalds 33, W. Raphael 32, Smith 25, and Cooke 13). Parkyn secured three wickets for 20 rum. St. Albans had scored 65 for four wicketf when stumps were' drawn, Forsyth making 23 and J. Colville 20 nob ont. The Junior-Cup match Warehousemen y Addington was commenced at Lancaster' Park, '•- Scores; — "Warehousemen, 73 j Aetdipgton, 110. Gibbons, Caygill, Forsyth, I 'Wright batted well for their respective?'sides, while Quinn, Mallooh, Malone and?.McMurry were most successful
