(pbbss association telegram.) : WELLINGTON, January 28. \ The newly-inducted Bishop of Welling-! ton was formally welcomed at a social gathering in the drillshed on Satur-j day night. Among the speakers were the* Bishop of Salisbury and Bishops Cowie,< Nevili, Julius, Williams and Wilson, the Chief Justice and the Premier. The Biahopj of Salisbury said Dr. Wallis's ability to 1 ; govern had been shown by his ful - management of a large body of? undergraduates, and if they founded' a University College here he wouldf be able to give them very efficient help."
