HEAVY RAINS.
Press Association—By 1 elegraph—Copyright Brisbane, January 26. Heavy rain bas again, set in. Three inches have fallen at Maryborough and four inches ac Buadaberg. January 27. He&vy rain fell during the lest two days, and 8£ inches were registered. All the lower portions of Brisbane and the suburbs are submerged. The river is in high flood and rising. People are removing goods from the wharves. The rain ceased to-night, but the weather is still threateniug.
