X lc is proposed to pledge as security for Bnch Loan (Ist) The rents, rates and profits derived from the gale, letting and user of water supplied by or through the said headworks and distributing channels, after providing for maintenance, repairs, cost of collecting and other necessary working expenses. (2nd) A Special Annual Rate, if required, for the purpose of making up any deficiency of (2) Three-Eight lie of a Penny in the £ on the rateable value of ail Lands within the Brown's Rock: Subdivision of the District benefited by such work, estimated at 120,000 acres, of a rateable value of £510.000. Pursuant to tho provisions of The Counties Act, 1886, and the Acts amending the same, and The Water Supply Act. 1891, and the Acts amending the same, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling them. NOTICE is hereby given that it Iβ the intention of the Waimakariri-Ashley, Water Supply Board to RaISJS A SPEUIAL LOAN on the Security and for the Work mentioned below:— 1. The particular work proposed to be undertaken it the Construction of a Dam across Cooper'e Creek, at a point in the creek about 7 chains to the South of tho northernmost corner of rural sections, 17978, 24285; the construction of a main channel leading from the eaid dam to a point on the western boundary of the Cooper'e Creek subdivision of the district, and diet, ibutory channels from the . last - mentioned point; on the western boundary *uffl lent to supply water to tue whole of the Cooper'e Crack subdivision of the district; also, the construction of a channel on the western Bide of Cooper's Crrek leading from the aforesaid dam, and sufficient to supply water to rural sections 1«55. 19616, 4382, 12306, and 30205. 2.
