Vagrancy.—William .Lowrie, alias Lewy, alias LoWry, waa charged with having insufficient lawful visible means of support. After hearing the evidence, the Bench liberated accused, on the understand: ing that he left the town at onoe, which he proceed to do. (Before R. Beetbara, Esq., S.M.) . Civil Cases—Christ's College v Jefferv, claim £* for rent due and possession of premises, judgment for plaintiffwitb costs. Brittan v Comyns, claim £14 Iβ 6d as balance .due under a lease for rent. Mrßeswick tor plaintiff. TMr Bruges,, who appeared for the defendant, objected that the lease of the property haviug been made to the' defendant's husband, who nae been for some time" dead, the defendant was not liable nndar the lease. Mr Berwick applied to have the plaint amended so as to make the oUim for use or occupation. Mr Bruges objected that that was the substitution of another cause of action. The case was adjourned, for argument on the point, till January 21ec Judgments went by default,- with -costs,-in Waite v Smith, £5; Bailey vMclndoe, d≥3s; Freeman v Txmminge, £2 18s 6d; Mason, Struthera and Co. v Andewon £10 ; Boon v Ryan, £7 8s 2J.
