Sib, —Some| time ago it was announced in the Pbess that, the newly-appointed Chairman of the Pier Company intended adding greatly to the attractions of the structure, and booming things in connection with it generally. How is it, then, that to-day, being the anniversary of. the opening day, instead of having something of an attractive nature, as befitting the occasion, we unfortunate shareholders are instead bidden to attend a meeting to consider the financial position of the Company S—Yours, &0.,- " ' Shareholdeb.
