DOLEFUL MUSIC.
SO THE EDITOR OF THE PKESS. Bra,—Might I suggest, through your paper, that when bands come down for occasions like the late excursion to Stunner (fireworks) that they would be obliging enough to play more lively lunes. Although complimenting the Staumore Band on their excellent execution of the pieces they played, I think I am unanimous in my opinion, from what I heard in mixing amongst .the crowd, in stating that their selection on Tuesday evening last was entirely too doleful and dirge-like.—Yours, &C., A Resident of Sujiner.
