SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
■ Auckland, December 31. Arrived—Barque Kathleen Hilda, with coals from Newcastle; Isabel, from the Islands ; American whaiin? barque, Charles W. Morgau. The vessel comes from a two months' cruise on the right whale ground to the eastward of New Zealand, she having left Russell, Bay of Islands, at the end of October last. The Charles W. Morgan is originally from San Francisco, where she is owned, and has bad a most successful voyage. Captain J. C. Earle is in charge of the vessel, and will be remembered as the master of a whaleship sailing out of Dunedin a. few years ago. She comes here to ship oil and refit for another cruiso.

Passengers— Misses Good, Ballantine, Rose, Kingswell, Reid (2), Hayward, May, Selby, Baker, and Whisker, Messrs Hardy, Webster, Ross, Biggs, J. H. Arrived —3.40 a.in,, Taviuni, from Westport ; Wainui, from Nelson and the West Coast;. Charles. Edward, from Nelson; Rotorua, from Pictou and Nelson.
Sailed—Herald, for Greyrnouth; Orowaiti, for Port Chalmers j Mawhera, for Nelson and the West Coast; Penguin, for Pieton-and Nelson; Wakatn, for Kaikoura and Lyttelton; Neptune, tor Blenheim; Queen of the South for Foxton ; Charles Edward for Nelson and the-West Coast j Taviuni, for Fiji via Auckland; Port Melbourne, for the Bluff and Dunedin.
Rotorua—For Lyttelton. Passengers— Misses Pike and Young, Mrs Young, Messrs Atkins, Dklke, Smith, -McKay, Harrison, Priugle, Young, Williams, Simpson, Nicholls, Jones; .Clark, Cunningham, Stephens, Perston, Scott, Laiug, Gain, Hamilton, Wyiie, Amos, Sinclair, Collier, -lattery, Lockie, Lomas, Aitken, Connell, Graham, Mercer, McFarlane, Stuart, Tripp, Hobbs and Brodie, and 13 steerage. The barque Lutterworth,'Capt. R. Keely, from Loudon via Bristol, which left the latter port on tbe 16th September, arrived off the Heads this afternoon. Her cargo, consisting principally of salt, vinegar, whiting and galvanise.! iron, comprises 446 toos for this port, anr'l the balance for Auckland.
