TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. , Sir, —Can you explain to mc the reason why the U.S.S. Company charge 6s for excursion fare to Akaroa from- Lyttelton, whereas the same Company only charge 2s 6d for excursion fare from Dunedin to Moeraki by same steamer, which distance is equally as far as is Lyttelton to Akaroa ; there is 3s 6d difference to be accounted for somewhere. Ia it because the Christchuroh people are so rich?— Yours, &c, W.M,
