With a naturally quiet feeling in most kinds of seeds, a moderate business was put through in turnips, in which no material change in values has taken place, but the general tendency is downward, especially in Aberdeen purple top yellow, which is quoted to-day considerably below actual Home cost, aud the same remark applies to swedes, both of which have this season been almost neglected ; Aberdeen green top and Imperial green globe* commanding the attention of all our large growers, and very little, if any, of cither variety will be carried over for next- year's sowing.
