Ox the Down Grade.—When W. J. S. Hay ward was badly beaten in three out of four races at the recent athletic meeting he was not riding a " Zealandia " bicycle. As he previously rode a " Zealandia " in all his successes, it is only fair to Mr Hayward, the public, and myself to make tbis fact known. The crack event of the meeting was won easily by Ritchie on a £20 " Zealandia. N. Oates, Zealandia Cycle Works, Christohurch.—[ Advt. ] Wbights Biscoi-s gained thirty..hree W awards N,Z. and S.S.
