The steamer ludralema, which came direct from Penarth, has come in ballast, and steamed the whole distance, the engines having never beeu stopped from the time of landing tbe pilot off Ilfr&comb on September 30th, until anchor waa dropped in the harbour yesterday; and the engines are soid to be in a fit state to enable the steamer to travel the same distanoe again without having to be overhauled. The Indralema is the first vessel to steam such a distance in ballast, although several others have come the same distance laden with cargo. She belongs to the same line as tbe lndramayo, which recently visited this port from London with general merchandise, and comes under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company. She will take on board about 1700 bales of wool, proceeding south to complete her loading. Sailed—Mihinapua, for New Plymouth and Wellington.
