SYDENHAM POULTRY SOCIETY
The annual meeting of this Society ffW held last nignt at the Club Hotel. Mr A. Bobbins occupied the chair. The annual report, after dealing with the events of the year and the continued success Of the Society, went on to slate that the membership of the Society now amounted to forty-r.wo. The balanoe-sheet showed . the total receipts to have been £233 13s 2d and the expenditure £23110s 5(1, leaving a credit balance of £7 2a 9*l. The report; concluded with thanks to the donors of special prizes, judges, &c. The election of officers resulted as follows t

It was resolved—That the Committee interview the Christchuroh Society with reference to the obtaining of the use of their wire pens. The meeting, after disposing of some routine business, adjourned.
