(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)

NELSON, November 23. The Agricultural and Pastoral Show was held to-day. It was a wet morning, tut three thousand were present. The entries were more numerous than last year, and an improvement in their quality was noticeable. Sheep were a lioe class, particularly Romneys. Mr S. Rowe, of Wellington, the judge of the draught horses, declared that close very good, and Mr Lingard, the judge of the light horses, speaks most favourably, adding that the hacks were the largest class ne had ever judged and very close. The cattle generally were good, especially the shorthorns and Jerseys. Of produce there was a tine display.
