A seusatioual confession, 'revealing shocking juvenile depravity, has been made by two girls named Conuelly, aged 15, and Morau, aged 16, inmates of the Parramatta Industrial school. They admitted to the police that they had been guilty of murdering and disposing of the bodies of several iufauts, and the police are now digging for them at Baudwick. Conuelly received money to get rid of a child, and with the aid of the infant's} moiher strangled and burned it. She coufeesed that, together with another woman, ehe choked a second iufanc aud threw the body iuto the sea. Ie is believed that the "girl" nave been concerned in many other crimes.

Ash ford has been convicted of perjury in connection with the Coomb Martin shooting affray, and aenienced to two years' Imprisonment. Several others concerned received four years. THE KIDNAPPING TRIAL. At the kidnapping trial the boy who acted aa interpreter for Captain Yos gave evidence that the latter asked the Chief who came on board to steal some boys, and gave details of the resistance offered by the men who were kidnapped.
